Poderia facilmente negligenciar o assunto do amor romântico, mas lembranças de experiências passadas são persistentes em se exibir na minha mente, sendo parte intrusiva de alguns de meus pensamentos sobre um futuro desconhecido.

 

Se for amor, no entanto, que seja de todo e não migalhas recebidas de peito aberto diante da ideia romântica que paira sobre a consciência. E se deve estar em cada célula do corpo, nas palpitações e no coração vibrante, vai estar. Não importam os desconfortos da raiva, da inveja, do ciúme, da mágoa ou de qualquer outro nome para o que quer que seja humano e dorido. E que – sendo confortável o pedido… – o fim não seja tão frio ou desértico, visto que é mais provável que a ‘cultura’ de bons sentimentos não floresça deste modo; mas se for, que não o seja de todo: há que se lembrar da Luz, que deve estar impregnada nas células todas.

I could easily neglect the subject of romantic love, but remembrances of past experiences are persistent in displaying themselves in my mind, being an intrusive part of some of my thoughts about a future unknown.

 

Should it be love, however, may it be to its fullest and not the crumbs that are openly received in face of a romantic idea that hangs over conscience. And if it should be in every cell of the body, in the palpitations and in the fluttering heart, it will be. It does not matter the discomfort of anger, envy, jealousy, heartbreak or any other name for whatever it be human and aching. And may it be that – the request being comfortable … - the end is not so cold or desert, inasmuch it is most likely that ‘crops’ of good feelings will not flourish this way; but if it is, then may it not be to its fullest: we must remember the Light, which must be impregnated in all cells.
